Weardale Open Air Swimming Pool, Stanhope

Stanhope has one of the only heated outdoor swimming pools in the North East.
The 25x13m pool is 1m (3 feet) at the shallow end, and a gentle gradient down to 3m (10 feet) at the deep end.
A slide near the shallow end will keep children occupied for hours, while the springboard in the deep end allows swimmers to show off their prowess by diving in!
For younger children learning to be comfortable and happy in water, there is a small, warm, toddler pool.

Wolsingham Swimming Pool

The pool is part of the Wolsingham School and Community College sports complex. The pool is available for lane swimming and family fun sessions. Check with the pool for exact times for each.
