The extreme geological terrain and historical mining has created a challenging environment for a variety of outdoor pursuits above and below ground. The dale boasts miles and miles of open moorland, riverside footpaths and open pasture to enjoy. We pride ourselves in our varied landscape and invite everyone to enjoy it. Due to popular demand and the complexities of putting on these activities, they recommend at least a weeks notice to book. All their activities are operated by licenced and insured companies. Group sizes for activities are normally a minimum of 4, however, there are some couples activities. Some age restrictions apply on some activities.
